The Illinois State Office will soon begin work on another church revitalization in Illinois. While specific details are forthcoming, this suburb of a major city has around 30,000 people, over 750,000 in the connected metro area and another 2,000,000 people within an hour’s drive. There is an existing church building, debt free and in decent condition. The sanctuary seats around 120. This will be a re-plant. There will be no salary but the State Office will provide some financial support. The individual who leads this church must be willing to be bi-vocational (or have another source of income), must complete the Church Revitalization training process with USA Missions (https://usamissions.com/revitalization/), and must work in direct connection with the State Church Planting and Revitalization Team in Illinois.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please send an inquiry to Administrative Bishop Rick Whitter at firstname.lastname@example.org. Include a letter, a current resume with references, and a simple Ministry Vision Statement.
I would appreciate it if you could pass this information along to others who may be interested.
God is doing great things in Illinois!
